# Season

Defining Seasons within the UNIRA Protocol:

At the heart of the UNIRA DeFi protocol lies a concept that shapes its evolution and progression - **Seasons**. Let's embark on a journey of understanding, breaking down the essence and significance of Seasons within the UNIRA ecosystem.

#### **The Seed of Supply:**

UNIRA commences its journey with a token supply of 1 billion $UNIRA tokens. This supply, designed with ingenuity, embraces hyperdeflationary principles, leading to a continuous reduction in total $UNIRA tokens with each transaction.

**The Relaunch:**

Central to the protocol's architecture is a moment of transformation - the Relaunch. This pivotal event is prompted by the attainment of specific targets:

**Target A:** The Relaunch initiates when the total $UNIRA token supply reaches 100 million, symbolizing the successful burning of 900 million $UNIRA tokens.

**Target B:** Alternatively, if the protocol operates for a continuous span of 365 days, with the total supply of $UNIRA tokens remaining above 100 million, the Relaunch is set in motion.
